No more Quiznos

The only Quiznos branch in Kuwait shut down. It seems the franchise owner wasn’t interested in the brand anymore. I thought it had a lot of potential but oh well, at least I still have Charley’s and Subway to fall back onto.

Its owned by sheikh mubarak Al sabah and they had 2 braches one in Jahra which is the first one and the second one was in baitak tower kuwait city ad I loved them. Charley I got food poisining from it their food is ot fresh but they have excellet fried.

The first time I was at quiznos I loved it! It had some good sandwiches and felt fresh. The second time I wasn’t so sure. Something was missing. May be coz second time was a take away. But I would have given it another try had it stayed. Its so unstable in Kuwait. One day your favourite place and second day its gone. They need to give it more time to establish itself.

Hahahah i knew it, and about time. They raped the Quiznos brand by opening this greasy shithole place. Every time i passed by it to eat at SC i almost puke because of the fucking terrible smell of grease and sweat. Now I can finally go to SC in peace. RIPieces Shitnoz and good fuckin’ riddance.

Employees here and lack of sanitation and properly prepared food ruin franchises in Kuwait. You cant just slap a logo on the storefront and expect it to be identical to the US – many other issues are also involved such as variety and quality of imports, especially meat.

Realist: it has nothing to do with recissionat all

Hilaliya: I agree with you with regards to the employees they play a major role in the success of the busiess but with regards to Quiznos I think the location he had helped in the fall of the business

Marzouq; it was the sheikhs call;p to be basen in Jahra;p

Eddie – it had everything to do with the recession. Action Group lost LOTS at the end of 08 on investments in real estate and the Kuwait stock market. The group had only 2 franchises – Quiznos (which they had been toying with for years before it opened) and Cafe Najar. The group closed their restaurant francise businesses and focussed on their core businesses – which have nothing to do with the F&B industry. Why were they located where they were? The locations were all about keeping costs low at the start up to determine if they would be profitable.

“indakhow” u shouldnt be revealing such information about a company plus about what they have..this might be confidential and the owner wouldnt be pleased to here about someone revealing info. about his company.
