Q8Weather is back

It’s been awhile since I posted about Mishaal Al Roomi. For those of you who are new to the blog and haven’t heard about him, Mishaal is a young and extremely talented weather forecaster whom I’ve posted about a number of times before. He had a website which he used to update daily with the weather forecast even though he was only 17 years old. His site ended up having technical problems and then the updates suddenly stopped. Well he emailed me today telling me that his website www.q8weather.com is now fixed and getting updated daily.

So if you want to get an accurate weather forecast you can now head over to his website and check out his predictions. I’m also going to check with him and see if there is somehow I can implement his forecast into the Kuwait Blogs app. Here is a link to his 5-day forecast which is what I used to check [Link]

Relatively hot, relatively shmot. It’s all relative, but we are definite that we’re not going to get a hail storm tomorrow.

Good luck to him, but Kuwait must be the worst place on earth to be a meteorologist. The weather here is so predictable, it renders the weather man obsolete.

Summer=Hot, Winter=Cold for two weeks. There! Now, can I get my Ph.D. in Kuwait meteorology?

🙂

Mark, is there not a way someone can make an app for ALL Kuwait blogs in one place instead of just the few that you list?
I know you made the particular app for your own personal preference but is it possible to make one for the middle east? including blogs from Leb? Dubai? Saudi? etc..?

There is always fun in every weather, stop it with the negative comments people. About the website, welcome back, true. But please consider re-designing your website cuz its really bad.

Thank you for the comments,

Nobu: Trust me, weather in Kuwait is extremely diffucult to predict between October and May where you can have FOUR seasons in one day! Like many days, we wake up with a blue sky and end our day with a storm. Plus, you know how people are here, everyone has an outdoor event and trust you completely to provide them with accurate forecasts. I should agree with you with the weather in summer, very boring for me; its either dusty, sunny or hot, or most probably all in one:) !

Again, thank you guys. I am here to serve you in better understanding the forecast, so please do not hesitate to email me for any inquiries about the weather at [email protected]

Thank you again, and god bless 248am
