The blog Cyrographics took the video above of this SUV burning in the middle of the road. Not sure how a car suddenly bursts into flames but it seems to be a common occurrence. The picture below is of whats left of the car. More pictures and details available [Here]

I don’t think I have heard of self-combustive vehicles before…..
They don’t self-combust. They are driven by complete idiots who don’t bother checking dials or warnings. That poor car was probably completely out of coolant and was flashing the “Engine Temperature” warning at the driver for a while. Insurance will also not cover it, since the driver is at fault for being a total retard.

I’ve been hearing about these occurences alot especially during the summer … it usually happened at the dark parking lots near marina and I thought some hoodlums were behind it. I really hope Yeni’s exlanation is the answer to those occurences.
I agree with Yeni or it could be either them taking it to a cheap mechanic with a hole-in-the-wall shop or the coompany mechanic was trying to save alghanim some $$$$$$$!
