The Abu Dhabi Film Festival starts in a few days time (October 13th) and there is only one Kuwaiti movie playing during the festival and that’s the short movie Swing directed by Abdullah Al-Daihani. Great! Kuwaiti filmmakers are making a boom in Kuwait cinema industry, and it’s growing fast for the past year. keep it up.
I saw that movie in elkout cinema earlier this year, it was too complex to understand. its an artistic material, not your regular fun-to-watch movie
I actually enjoyed the movie, it wasn’t that complex, it was full of symbolism, if you see other short movies they are the same, they don’t need to be a popcorn action/fun movie, what matters is the way the idea is presented, which Swing delivers in that case
