Today morning we woke up early to take Geo to the dog beach. There were 5 other dogs there today and Geo was the youngest amongst them and also the smallest size wise. All the other dogs were bigger then Geo and they spent most of the time bullying him around. There was this really cool Great Dane that was just 1 year old but like twice the size of Geo. At one point he was running towards me and it’s just the freakiest thing. I wasn’t worried he was going to attack me or anything; I was just worried he was going to run in to me, it would be like getting hit by a truck. He was really cute and I think he gave Geo the hardest time. Geo swam for the first time today but only for a few seconds. Last week he spent most of the time jumping around in the water but today we went deeper and he managed to paddle a bit before he looked like he was starting to drown which at that point I decided to carry him back to the shallow end. I didn’t get a tan since we only spent an hour at the beach but I think by the end of summer I should get some color.

Great Danes are so playful!!! They are harmless, I have never seen an angry Great Dane. At least Geo is learning to be the small dog and the big dog sometimes! And he is learning to swim which is great!
do apartments have pets alllowed/no pets rules?
i wanna get a dog – or be a home for a stray that needs temporary care… and work close to the veterinary place at Wafra where he can be dropped off and picked up before/after work.

that reminds me fractal00…. i live across from the beach on Belajat St. What a F*CKING REFUSE DUMP!!!! More litter than sand, DIRTY BABY’S DIAPERS – nappies for UK-english speakers 😉 – wouldn’t let a dog NEAR that disgusting beach. And what’s with all the men-watching-men business going on there?? 😛
well the dog beach is located somewhere opposite the salwa area. its very clean, the sand is white and soft and there is no garbage. its also secluded and to get to it u actually have to park your car up and then walk down accross a dirty beach towards this clean one.
oh man .. i live in Salwa, and i was looking for a nice beach to go to when i am free… dude maybe i can go wit u next time and see where that beach is …
