The bright side to the dust

There are advantages to the weather we are having at the moment. The first positive thing is that it isn’t getting that hot. Since there is no sun the weather is cooler than usual which is great. The other positive thing is I think it adds character to Kuwait. London is known for the rain, Dubai for the humidity and now Kuwait for the dust!

Question:

You can only choose one:

1) Persistent Dust

2) Persistent Rain

3) Persistent Humidity

4) Unpredictable and infrequent Earth Quakes and One off Natural Events

thats the stupidest thing ive ever heard. yippee we have personality – and bronchitis, and asthma and cancer from all the toxins in the air… lucky us! tourism should go up

Dust is alright but i am tired of always getting up in the morning and My land cruiser is full with dust inside not out :P~ hahahahaha

I just came from Abdaly, and seriously my beloved car is damaged, you can’t make this shit up, going between 180-200, with one happy camera flash, i came back home and the white turned into grey, don’t ask me how!

now, in the rain case, it’d be either very clean, or i’ll be in a hospital by now, so you can’t win whatever choice you make.

I hate the fuckin rain. its been 4 weeks already and its still raining non-stop here. ,if nybody’s been to BC then they know wat i’m talking about. i mean for fuck’s sakes before in Kuwait i hardly ever used to see ny rain and now i’m sick of it already. but IMHO sun>snow>rain>dust

4) Unpredictable and infrequent Earth Quakes and One off Natural Events

Sounds for Japan-ish in my opinion *nod*

I like rain, but I would hate to have to start hating it =/

Go with the rain. Inhaling dust may cause long-term lung damage like silicosis. I don’t think you can inhale rain.

My car’s thermometer was reading 40 yesterday at noon.

I wonder how high it would’ve been if there was no dust!!!

they say becuse of the low heat this year there will be no power shortages or cuts of the electricity becuse the pressure on the power plants are less 🙂 GO DUST …..

I love the rain. Makes for a clear day the day after. The dust keeps the heat away for sure, but its causing a lot of health problems for a lot of people here – bronchitis, laryngitis etc etc. This weather reminds me of the 80’s when dust storms were the norm, especially in Sabahiya where I lived then. I guess the weather is going back to what it was then.

I agree with cajie.
Dust also brings new species of plants to our nature in kuwait.

Oh how long will it last? I hate it. Would rather have rain any day. Rain is better in Kuwait than UK tho as rain there is miserable. Rain in Kuwait is lush. Bring on the rain to get rid of this dust!!

No , there is nothing positive about dust at all.
Dust is dust.
It makes you feel dirty.
It gets everywhere.
It makes you sneeze.
It keeps you indoors.
Give me heat! Heat! HEAT! At least you can jump in the sea or the pool and attempt to cool off…………..Jump into the pool here with all the dust, and you’d emerge looking like one of the undead.
