I passed by the car exhibition tonight. I was expecting it to be really packed but surprisingly it wasn’t. The exhibit is divided into 4 halls, one is full of American cars, another European, a third was taken by Toyota and Lexus while the fourth was a mixture. The exhibition was ok, not too exciting but there were a few cars (and a bike) that grabbed my attention. My favorite has to be the Ford SVT Raptor (pictured above) but at KD20,000 I’m never going to own one. The Range Rover Evoque was on display surprisingly and priced very reasonably at KD17,000. Other interesting cars were the Aston Martin Cygnet, the Mini Countryman and the beautiful Confederate motorbike. There’s lots of parking space available and the entrance is free so it’s worth the visit. For more info on the exhibition click [Here]

they usually build their future cars based on those concepts 🙂
Looks awesome. That Honda concept looks pretty nice. I’ll go there on the weekend when it will probably be jam packed! lol
That Honda isn’t a concept car, it’s a Honda NSX R I am guessing from the late 90’s. The fact you thought it was a concept car goes to show how ahead of their time they were.

Anyhow, there’s a LOT of manufacturers missing. Nissan, Infiniti, Lambo, Ferrari, Audi, the list goes on. Idk where the hell they are?! :/

Dude, the Evoque, is it really at Kd17,000 cause HSE is way over priced at Kd26,000 and supercharged is at a crazy Kd34,000 for it’s name you think it would beat the Cayenne Turbo :p but doesn’t even reach half of that!

It’s disappointing Audi and Nissan are not there but Lamborghini, Ferrari and Porsche not too much. Lambo have like 2 cars only which we’ve all seen unless they were going to display a Reventon or one of their new concepts. Ferrari would have been cool if they were going to display some classics like the F40 and F50.
Oh it’s disappointing VW wasn’t there. Just realized that.

2007 car show was waaaaaaaaaaaaaayyy much better 🙂
the raptor is for 13,000 in the US!! imagine, thats with all the extra options.. so you could but a ticket, have a vacation, buy the truck and ship it for kuwait and it would turn out less than buying it from kuwait

this year’s exhibition is really bad because a number of major car companies are not participating .. big disappointment
i have a clue if u want a Ford F-150 Raptor. I’m a man who know about every inch of cars in the world il7imdillah :). My suggestion if u really want a raptor, go to MAKTAAB and order it from USA. USA raptor price is about 14-15,000 KD.

one of the worst exhibitions I have been to. 2007 was much better and showed promise of being even better year on year. This show is a disgrace.
im so interested in the Evoque and iam looking for a car now.. can i buy it now or the car just for the show ? iam not good in the cars ..Evoque worth it ?
This is held in the Mishref international fair grounds. They have a website with the scheduled events. Saw a SLS AMG here for 76,800 KWD!!!!!!
Not as many exotics as last time. It isn’t held every year tho.
