I was just informed that according to the Kuwait Customs Labor Union, all the customs staff will go on strike starting from this Tuesday the 13th. Only emergency medicine and passengers on-board baggage will be processed during the strike. All other items will be placed on hold with no indication to how long the strike will last.
This seriously sucks.

Yay so none of us will be getting our iPads…I just wish I could walk over there and smack some sense into those people they barley do anything as it is. All the work is done by the people who work at Aramex, DHL, FedEx, UPS, and so on.

small? an ipad with the same screen resolution as a 27inch iMAC is now a small minor improvement? jeez what were you expecting? a time machine? teleportation abilities?
Better processor, more ram, higher res screen, 4g, same battery life, same price. That’s as big of a jump as the iPhone 4 was from the 3GS. If that’s considered a minor improvement then I don’t know what will please your highness.

Aaa, thank god for that. Hate to think leaving my baggage in a hold….. You never see it back. And i agree it is the companies like DHL and ARAMEX that do all the work….. Bloody nuisance!! I think everybody err had received a 20% salary uplift recently….???

We have been told customs is not going to release our mail for the next two days minimum.
