I just found out that Alshaya are currently in negotiations to bring The Hummingbird Bakery to the region. The Hummingbird Bakery is based in London and they have the best Chocolate Devils Food Cake in the world. It’s an incredible place and I use their cookbook to make some amazing cookies and apple pies.

Note: Someone NEEDS to bring Ben’s Cookies to Kuwait. They already have a few branches in Saudi and they’re now opening up in Dubai as well. What about us over here??

there is enough room for everyone in Kuwait, I also love Fudds cookies and Hardees cookies, doesn’t mean all other cookie places would have to shutdown.
Cookies and chocolate are very hard to get wrong which is why so many obscure chocolate shops are popping up. However as much I’d love to try this coupled with me not making enough money, I’ll stick to 6 for .900 fils cookies from Hardees or the .250 fils cookies from subway. Both places rock. Maybe Mark can visit my local bakala and review some cookies which I’ve considered trying.
Butter and Sugar will taste good no matter what you do to them lol

Although I am not a big fan of Ben’s cookies lakin every one I know is fa I guess people would do cartwheels from happiness if it does open…

I LOVE the cookbook even though never been to the bakery for real. I can’t wait for it to open. Unrelated but Are you CPK fan? They have it in Dubai and that’s another franchise I’m badly want in Kuwait!
P.S. – did you the share buttons? Or am I noticing now. Good move infact I wonder why you delayed it in first place (ofcourse assuming they were not there!)
i always had the buttons but they were smaller and located next to the email and print button. just noticed today the twitter one wasn’t working so changed the plugin and also decided to do the same with the facebook like button.
I tried contacting Bens cookies however in their site it stated only countries that they are interested in as a franchise. So gutted!
Al Shaya appear to have bought out the entire Hummingbird Bakery company from its owner in the UK.Their interest is now growing it as a master franchiser rather than franchisee !
