woah, slept through it too.
i thought it was that annual hail storm that happens in april when i woke up and saw rain puddles eevrywhere…

im glad i didnt miss that xD

Oh boy it was scary! I woke up first at about 6 and it was a normal, start of the day kind of light.

Then at about 8 or earlier a little, I started hearing lot of wind around the house, I looked out and it was dark. I was very confused I thought it was an eclipse. It also rained in the middle of it…

I saw it started on 7:50AM i thought it was night lool .. The wind over 50Klm/h .. It was Amaizing and scary storm

It actually woke me up. The sound of rain and hail hitting my window and the sudden darkness and the howling wind. It did feel like a hurricane for a few minutes.

i woke up at 7.30 it was nice and sunny .. 7.50 .. it’s night time! the street lights came on .. wind and rain and thunder .. amazing!!

i cant believe you slept right through it!! 😛

Yeah…..my husband woke me up and was like..oh my gosh, oh my gosh look out the window. LOOK OUT THE WINDOW!

I thought it was a friggin’ tornado. My window in the salon was rattling and the wind was whizzing straight through the a/c vent.

According to the Kuwait Times newspaper it’s going to be a lot of strange weather for the next few days. xoxo

It woke me up at about 8:00.I was confused about time and had to check 3 different clock and watch to make sure it is really 8:00 morning. After I became sure about timing I realized that all the darkness is caused by the storm. Immediately I worried about planes and passengers ! I was surprised that no flight was delayed or canceled on airport panel.
As much as I was exciting watching the storm, I was praying that every body else be in safe place while it is happening .

I saw it happening.A huge black cloud approaching from a distance.Next minute it was dark outside.Scary

My front door had water pouring in, even under the windows.Woke up at 8 and thought it was night.
Some carports down the coast road to Fahaheel blew down on top of cars just before that Babak restaurant.

The storm was sooo strong it literally broke my house window! And also I have heard that there was a man fishing at about 5:30 and his boat flipped from the sea

It was cool, was driving down to work as usual at about 0730 left the house, saw the sky – just like when its going to rain heavy, even joked with the harris why he washed the cars. On the 40 just after the 207 it hit, first saw all the debris flying over the road, like in the movies then visibility from clear to zero in less than a second. Few cars even pulled off the road, the wind was horrible. Even the headlights (on high beam) were useless, some what like a blizzard but brown. After reaching Ahmadi it rained, oh glorious rain.

lol i was standing outside it was sunny .. then suddenly the dust came and it was SO windy and dusty so i went inside ,, it was like night time.. so scary :s

I was awake, with coffee, News, Internet and this storm in the morning. I had myself standing to watch this fiasco for the next 40 mins. Never seen something like this.

Oh, I missed 99.7 weather man, Hani this morning. anyone know what he said

I was awake as normal, till I realized what was going on.

Airport and seaport were closed and all flights were suspended.

The roof of my neighbor’s little tent that he put up in the balcony blew off and landed in front of my window.

Water was gushing in everywhere.

Love it.

It was suriele .. My maid told me at 7:30 in the morning that its black outside, I went to look and I really thought that my head is not working well and its 7:30 pm and not am. I kept looking at the watch and then my phone wach!

The storm came, the wind the rain and more and more rain. After 20 minutes the sun, blue sky and a very beautiful weather.

Everything happened so quickly .. didnt have enough time to understand 🙂

@dave—Hani said it wasn’t a tornado as some people assumed. But he said the wind speeds clocked 120KM/Hr. Oh, and as for himself, he just checked if his car was okay and went right back to sleep.

@Sara ..My maid told me … my maid??? my maid??? are you for real? the correct adjective here is Helper, just in case u don’t know till now
