‘Star Wars: The Force Awakens‘ comes out next Thursday (the 17th) here in Kuwait, a day before the US launch. Me and my friends booked tickets yesterday since Grand Cinemas have already started selling them. When we booked last night the theater was fairly empty but I just checked now and it’s filling up pretty quickly (at least the 7:30PM showing). So if you want to catch the premier of Star Wars in Kuwait you should head over to the Grand Cinemas website and book your tickets [Link]

Thanks Mark.
First day First Show – Tickets Booked !!!
So Excited…
Are most seats already gone?
I wounder how much time they will cut from the movie
Knowing Kuwait they’ll probably censor a bare ewok leg.
It doesn’t come out a day before! The official release date is Friday the 18th, but all theaters in the US are showing it from Thursday the 17th too!
It’s still too early to book the tickets…… Besides, there are plenty of empty seats for the 2 o’clock show…..
If you haven’t booked already you’re too late
There are still plenty of available seats for the 2 o’clock show…..
That’s because everyone is at work or school, check the other timings
2 o’clock is convenient for me, hence it’s too early for me to book 🙂
Sadly, GrandCinema are not showing it in 2D.
This is what I don’t like about them. If the film is available in 3D, then they will only show it in 3D.
IMAX?
It’s there at the 360 mall in 3D IMAX. One day earlier than grand cinemas. The time is at 0:05 on 16th December. Basically thats 15th December just after midnight. Ticket price is 5 KD
Oh wait, correction there. It’s on the 17th December at 0:05. Cinescape website shows it as 16th December to avoid customer confusion.
At the time of this post Cinescape didn’t have tickets for Star Wars for sale. They must have decided to put them on sale because of grand cinemas.
Cinescape is behind the power curve, again! I had booked my tickets back on the 7th for 7:30! There was only half the seats left. what was a little strange to me was that the seats on the outer area from top to bottom were almost all take. Weird!
If you want to watch the film in 2D, head over to Sky Cinema and book your ticket.
Cinescape STILL don’t have booking open for Thursday and beyond.
They are now showing the movie in the GRAND CLASS. I’m glad I didn’t get tricked and booked my tickets in advance 🙂
