How the hell did Magic Mike XXL not make the ban list in Kuwait? Cinescape have it listed as coming soon which doesn’t make any sense since the movie is all about male strippers. How long is the movie going to end up being after all the censorship, a full 5 minutes? So weird.

Cinescape and grand cinemas always do this, they’ll put the film on coming soon but they never actually show it. It’s been done so many times before.
Yeah I’ve seen them put up ads for movies before that ended up never actually being released, sometimes because the proposed cuts were so extensive it wasn’t worth it.
It’s still in the censoring phase … trust me it won’t make it

Shit movie about male strippers that objectifies males and male bodies. I don’t think the movie should be shown here (and anywhere else) because it sends the wrong message to children and women. The poster alone encourages steroids and illicit drug taking. Feminists always complain about the exploitation of female bodies but when it’s male bodies, no one bats an eye. Double standards. But then again, the exploitation of female bodies is more prevalent than male.
Yeah, like Homoud said, they’ll pull it before release. It won’t make the final Now Showing section. So, don’t get your hopes up. I did when I saw Entourage on the “coming soon” section and informed friends way in advance that we had to go watch. But, of course the obvious happened.
