It’s a slow week since I’m out of the country so really haven’t watched anything new except for one show, Bad Monkey. It stars Vince Vaughn whom I’m a fan of, so I’m watching it because of him. I just started so don’t have strong opinions on the show yet but it was good enough to get me started at least.

Safe travels.
I just started watchwing Sunny and it is quite surprising with a fresh narratvive on robots. Really like it so far.
Also Snowpiercer and Industry are back with a new season and they never disappoint, especially Snowpiercer.
Time Bandits is a nice light series which is good to watch with the kids or just to pass time.
As for movies, please skip Jackpot not worth it. Also watched Twisters and The Union both of which were better than I expected.
Movies I watched:
– Twisters (2024) was a joke.
– The Union (2024) not good, not bad. Could be played in the background.
– Immaculate (2024) nicely shot, beautiful, but not scary.
– Witness (1985) more a drama than a noir.
– The Long Goodbye (1973) not as good as similar movies from the same era.
– Cold Pursuit (2019) a solid action thriller.
– Evolution (2015) french. Visually stunning. Minimum dialogue. My type of movie.
– Detained (2024) good thriller movie. Not great.
– The Zone of Interest (2023)
– Tell No One (2006) french. A great thriller.
– The Dry (2020)
– Oddity (2024) horror movies don’t usually scary me but this one did.
– The Running Man (1987) I watched this movie in cinema when I was a kid. Not worth it.
– Quiz Show (1994) loved it. Great thriller. The cinematography was exceptional.
– Pandemonium (2023)
