I’m still binge watching House of Cards so haven’t watched anything new this past week and so don’t have anything to recommend. But, there are two things I’m looking forward to this weekend, first is the new series Terminator Zero on Netflix which comes out today, and the second is Kevin Costner’s new Western “Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1” which is now available to watch on MAX. I’ve got these two on my to do list this weekend.
Let me know in the comments what you recently watched or planning to watch.

I met Kevin Costner years ago at the South Dakota Film Festival.
One of the sweetest if not the corniest actors I’ve ever met. Loves to chill with regular folk a lot.
How is your comment relavent to this topic “Shows to Watch this Weekend”
I too met a street Pianist in Amsterdam.. he loves to chill out with his music..
Lol.. Bollywood is over hyped these days..
Typo: relevant
He spoke about Kevin Costner so I just mentioned meeting him once.
No one said anything about a street pianist in Amsterdam.
You sound like a hateful Indian troll who can barely speak English properly.
Either post a hateful comment publicly or shut up.
At least I don’t hide who I am in my comments.
You dont have to respond to the idiot @ Cool Blue. They are a keyboard warrior. You said nothing wrong. Dont provide them the platform.
Thanks man. You’re right.
Recently I watched
The Bicycle Thief
Mulholland Drive
and
Lolita
They all made for enjoyable viewing.
Mulholland Drive is a trip
Horizon will be great. Kevin Costner is great, he was the right role for Taylor Sheridan films like Yellowstone. From that concept it allowed Costner to create more films. Costner was an underrated actor for a long time im glad he is getting all the credit now. They were just shooting the next season of Yellowstone in Montana i was able to hang out there for a couple of weeks.
Horizon is great … you should watch it if you haven’t yet. Saw it opening weekend in the theater while I was home in Texas this Summer. The cinematography is beautiful.
Movies I watched:
Longlegs (2024) nice thriller. Didn’t like the ending.
Abigail (2024) it was a fun watch. Not great.
House of Games (1987) a good noir movie.
To Die For (1995)
Vanilla Sky (2001) it’s my first time watching it and it didn’t disappoint.
Narc (2002) a very good crime thriller.
Kinds of Kindness (2024) I love everything from Yorgos Lanthimos but i didn’t like the 3 stories setup. Not ambiguous enough.
Milk & Serial (2024) a 1-hour horror film available in youtube. I liked it.
Gangs of New York (2002) first time watching it and it was very good.
The Aviator (2004) also first time. This is a masterpiece.
The Holy Mountain (1973)
Wow some really huge 1st timers there
I still have a few to watch like Citizen Kane, The Maltese Falcon, Dr. Strangelove
Vanilla Sky has one of the best film soundtracks of all time next to There Will Be Blood and Baz Luhrmann’s Romeo + Juliet.
The Holy Mountain is an incredible arthouse film that I saw in college/film school. Fact: Noel Gallagher named one of his best songs after the film.
I wish I had the same amount of free time as Vampire.
I need to go re-visit the Vanilla Sky soundtrack. Didn’t enjoy the film, though.
Bollywood hasn’t delivered anything spectacular this past year except perhaps Lapata Ladies (the Missing Ladies) and Kerala Story.
Have developed a lazy eye for Turkish and South Korean web series.
Currently , I am hooked on to ARY for Kabhi Main Kabhi Tum (an excellent Pakistani drama series). It has my 7 stars 👌
The Kerala Story came out last year and if you liked the sectarian propaganda film then you probably hate Muslims and shouldn’t be living in a Muslim country.
How Judgmental you are… Know that English is not a measure of Intelligence.
What Mishooooole said.
