This past week, I watched the season finale of Industry—what a great season! I loved it. The main cast is so incredible that you almost forget Kit Harington (Jon Snow) and Sarah Goldberg (Barry) are part of it.
It’s hard to pick a favorite character, but if I had to choose, I’d say Sagar Radia, who plays Rishi, and Ken Leung, who plays Eric and, as I just realized, was also in Lost.
If you haven’t watched Industry yet, you definitely should, it’s one of the best active shows at the moment.
I also finished binge watching The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story, and also caught up on Slow Horses which I’m not enjoying as much this season. Same with Tulsa King, not really enjoying the second season as much so far but I’m only two episodes in.
I was just checking the “What’s Next” section in the app Next Episode which is what I use to keep track of all the shows, and here are a few shows I can’t wait for.
Elsbeth in 15 days
What We Do in the Shadows in 19 days
The Diplomat in 29 days
Yellowstone in 39 days
Dune: Prophecy in 43 days
Silo in 44 days
Lots of good stuff coming up!
Let me know in the comments what you recently watched or planning to watch.

Industry is INSANE!
I love Eric
– The Perfect Couple (2024) tv show. very average
– Grotesquerie (2024) tv show. crime. watched 2 episodes and I’m hooked. very gory. interesting dialogue. Niecy Nash is brilliant
movies I watched:
– O-Bi, O-Ba: The End of Civilization (1985) loved it. not recommended for everyone
– Wolfs (2024) it was a fun watch
– The Third Man (1949) nothing is great about this movie. the soundtrack made is worse
– Get Carter (1971) an OK movie. Michael Caine was awesome
– Night Moves (1975) a great noir
– The Maltese Falcon (1941) first time watching it. great story, not so great movie
– Strange Darling (2023) crime/horror. a strong contender for the best movie I watched this year. phenomenal, masterpiece, future classic. avoid spoilers if you want to watch it
The Penguin and Agatha All Along continue to be solid shows,
I also finished watching a bunch of animated anthology-style shows like,
-Cars on the Road (very silly, but kinda fun)
-Dug Days (basic, but still fun to watch for Dug)
-Star Wars: Tales of the Empire (first 3 eps were good, last 3 eps were ok, but I think I would’ve enjoyed them more had I watched all of the 2008 Clone Wars series)
-Lego Star Wars: The Resistance Rises (silly Lego nonsense that tries to be like a prequel to The Force Awakens, but I think Ep3 was the best)
-Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur: Moon Girl’s Lab (A fun way for kids to learn about science topics)
-Big Hero 6: The Series: The Shorts (S1 was fine, but S2 felt very childish and silly)
As for standard shows,
-The Acolyte (I don’t give a damn what anyone else says, Eps 5, 6 & 8 were FANTASTIC! and it’s an absolute shame we won’t get to see the story continue, bcs it looked like there were some really cool stuff on the way)
-Pennyworth S02E01-04 (I’ve been slowly making my way through this season and it’s def better than S1, but one character died in the most ridiculous and unnecessary way, like WTF??)
-Only Murders in the Building S04E01-06 (Great show as always, I don’t know why you haven’t given it a shot, Mark)
– Hit-Monkey S02E01 (this season looks like it’s gonna be even better than S1, and S1 was great; also worth checking out)
-Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur S01E03-06 (after watching the Moon Girl’s Lab shorts, I watched these eps that I had downloaded before bcs Disney+ in this region refuses to stream this show (also how/why I only watched those Moon Girl’s Lab shorts), and this show was fun and reminded me of Cartoon Network shows from the mid-2000s)
As for movies, I only saw,
-Inside Out 2 (interesting, great animation, but not as good as the first one imo)
-RoboCop 2 (underrated! Why are people lumping this with RoboCop 3 as being “bad” when this has the best practical effects ever???)
-RoboCop 3 (nowhere near as good as the first 2 films, but not as bad as you might think it is)
Joker: Folie à Deux is one of a kind DC first musical movie with all the dramatic changes in story plot and not to mention the sad ending! Lady Gaga played The Joker (Joaquin Phoenix) fooled all along and his performance just out of this world ..
The music and the songs are so good even though there is only one OST
