I’m afraid the number of cuts required for The Shape of Water will seriously damage the film. The rest though should be relatively unscathed.
Don’t bother 😂. Stream them online if they can’t cut the nudity they’ll cut the insults. #nocensorship
They kept all the profanity. I think they are on the right track with censorship.
The movie is already available digitally. Only an insane person at this point would actually pay to watch a censored copy.
Just watched it, didn’t damage shit. Nudity is all they censored which is absolutely fine..
Looks like this would be a lot of fun. Wish I was back in Kuwait!
Given how proximate Kuwait and Iran really are in terms of geography
cultural ties, cuisine among other things it is a shame that
cine buffs in Kuwait are denied access to a content rich
Irani cinema by the likes of Majed el Majidi,
Abbas Kiarostomi, Samera Makhmalbaf and others.
Have taken this up with Yaser B on a number of occasions but
to no avail, obviously.
Inshalla, with 4 cinema vendors in the country should rev up the
engine hopefully offering a differentiated product and services mix.
Kiarostomi’s Taste of Cherry and Majid Majdi’s Children of Heaven are two of my all time favorite films.
