I thought there use to be an A&W at Souq Sharq? I haven’t been there in years but way back when it was “new” I remember getting a root bear from there.

There was a Wendy’s, A&W, and Arby’s already they all failed.

Actually the Wendy’s location ended up becoming the first Burger King.

A&W went bust here. Arbys went poof and so did Wendy’s.

A bunch of the “posh” burger joints started out ok and just deteriorated with time. Gonna bet more joints will open in the near future and even more will deteriorate in quality.

McFalafel anyone ?

Seems like people here only want to eat in expensive-gourmet style restaurants. That spanish restaurant in Kuwait city is so far from real spanish food and that too sold at ridiculous prices. Same with the burgers here. 4 kd is the average price of a burger…give me a break.

I don’t know how you can think that when McDonalds and KFC are basically the official food of Kuwait, which I’m pretty sure is not gourmet. McDonalds sales in the gulf are crazy, something like $2 million a day according to them. There are prominent burger franchises that sell that much in 6 months.

Gourmet Burgers are just a current trend people are hopping onto. When Maki first started blowing up everyone started opening Sushi restaurants too. It’s much easier to compete in that arena than it is to compete with fast food giants.

I miss Mucho Burrito. Wonder how long till Mexican fast food restaurants get here. Atleast its real grilled chicken, with fresh veggies, sauces, rice … nevermind doesn’t sound fast food like.

Have you tried

Azteca – In The Village
En Mexico – In Jabriya

Not fast food and a bit expensive yeah but if you want sloppy, cheap quick chicken in bread get a shawarma lol

I only care about standards being enforced. It’s fast food, and it means the food of high quality is delivered quickly.

It’s not suppose to be junk food, delivered as quickly as possible.

Low quality food causes disease, sickness and depression. It’s in the interest of the health minister to make sure restaurants can emulate the franchise taste but most importantly keep the quality good.

Otherwise we are treated as units for economic gain exploiting our taste buds and brainwashed conditioning to eat ‘tastey’ cancer and pay top dinar for it as well. We are becoming a simple calculation that is a return on investment without even considering health, quality and real management to run an honest business in the fast food industry or even gourmet with their frozen meats.

Its actually a U.S fast casual burger chain !
It tastes better than In n Out!!!
The company is registered in Diamond bar California
