Kuwait Club copy PSG jersey

Last week the Kuwait Sporting Club revealed their new football kit only turns out it was plagiarized from the popular Paris Saint-Germain team. Not sure what they were thinking since they must have known people would notice. Yesterday the French media picked up on this and it’s now spreading everywhere with side by side shots. Seriously how hard would it have been to come up with a unique design? [Link]

First the women’s team gets sacked and now this? I really think that the Zain commercial that has the old soccer guys making a comeback is true, bring them out of retirement and let them show these kids how it’s done. I guess the difference between then and now is the levels of testosterone, no real men like there were before. The “men” these days carry shaving bags as purses and then there are the ladyboys, nuff’ said.

WHAT? You mean some men aren’t so hung up on this ridiculous idea of “manliness” that says you can’t carry your stuff in bags, and are actually carrying BAGS to put their things in instead of trying to fit everything into their pockets? OUTRAGEOUS. CLEARLY THE COUNTRY IS GOING TO HELL.

Real men: They do stupid things to fit arbitrary definitions of manhood.

habibi everything is copied here. Any stupid food joint with a galmarous name given will be shortly opened here. Anthing and everthing is this country is all about western culture.

For a change..

No. Western culture values ingenuity and creativity. Copying others and laziness is typical 3rd world country culture.

This falls in the category of “What were you thinking?” They really didn’t think someone will notice this blatant plagiarism? I hope the local papers pick on this to shame them into changing their jerseys’ design.

That reflects the leadership of the club and the pride they have in their team.

Lets hope they “copy and paste” the will to win.

If they are so lazy that they couldn’t come up with an original design to represent their club and what they are passionate about; I think their play will reflect the same.

At the very least they could have made it match the Kuwait flag colors! /facepalm

Judging by the number of Nobel Prizes and patents that come out of Kuwait, it’s safe to say that original thinking is not their forte.

you guys must be blind,
There are major differences, for one it says Kuwaiti club and also the small logo on the right is different

noobs

Why should Kuwait be sued by the French? For a jersey?

It’s rare, but not uncommon that 2 teams wear the same jersey.
A few years back Al-Rayyan (Qatar) used the exact football kit as AC Milan for the 2010 season. The only (but important) difference is that at that time both clubs were sponsored by Adidas. So no copyright issues involved.

Q. remains; which company has violated the copy-rights, Lotto or Nike?
(assuming that Lotto as sponsor supplies the jerseys of Kuwait Club)

This is embarassing for not only the club Kuwait, but for the whole country. Someone needs to get fired.

Hey this is getting a little silly……SO WHAT…..a club design looks same…big deal…lets see if it inspires Kuwait Club to acheive similar things on the field …HALA KUWAIT…..and if we can sign Ibra then all the better 🙂 …..lol ….relax lads.

The legal department of Nike will be pleased to know who’s responsible for stealing their product and potential -future- damage to their reputation and image.

I can’t imagine that Lotto, also a valuable brand, will allow copy-products at a professional club that they’re financially supporting.

The team doesnt have anything to do with the kit , its the company that makes the kit , Besides , That kit is the training kit, So get over it you monkey ass Jabronis

Its obvious that you don’t have any knowledge regarding business or sponsoring of professional football clubs.

Verbal aggression and referring to a non-argument. Does that make it a lesser crime in your perception?

Copying is equal to stealing from the original designer. Whether that be a company or a designer from Bahrein.
Btw. He ain’t a designer, but a producer of goods of which he doesn’t own the copyrights.

By accepting and/or using goods of which you know that it’s been stolen, makes you nothing less then a brother-in-crime.
