NotTheOnion: Kuwait bans ads on sale of weapons of mass destruction

Ministry of Information has banned the publishing and broadcasting of any commercial advertisements of the sale of mass destruction weapons including nuclear, chemical and biological weapons in newspapers, audiovisual media, and electronic media, reports Arab Times Daily. [Source]

And right before Christmas. Coincidence? I don’t think so.

    Hmm where were these ads being shown? also is there big difference in price between a clean nuke and dirty one, is one made in japan and the other made in china?

    Damn! Just before X-mas and New Year … I was planning to place an advt. for a nuke for New Year count down blast :-(

  3. Nobody says idioms like “coincidence? I don’t think so” and “eat your heart” anymore. Bummer.

    I’m pretty sure the last time I heard the latter was when somebody said “blah blah blah. Jennifer Love Hewitt, eat your heart out!”

    That’s how long ago that was.
