Starbucks shares slide again

Yesterday Starbucks posted its quarterly results and sales were down again. According to Starbucks, their sales in North America dropped by 6%, and sales in their second largest market which is China dropped by 14%. They don’t mention the boycott as one of the reasons, but it has to be having an effect as well.

Overall their stock is up 2.79% since the boycott started last year, but they’re currently down over 4% before the market opens today.

They’ve always downplayed the boycott as one of the reasons. Always.

Sure yeah you just happened to hire a CEO for millions of dollars and planned to have him on board for a little over a year.

Yeah cause that’s what every major multinational corporation does.

Pfft. They’re fooling no one.

we should boycott them if we really care about palestine people sufferings ,Starbucks s Jewish backed restaurant

Shitbucks has always been low quality coffee. Support local coffee shops instead. In the US they are getting hurt by Dutch Bros Coffee & few other brands that are taking up market share. Keep up the boycott its being felt.

Ive been “boycotting” Starbucks for over 20 years. Honestly, you dont have an excuse not to make your own speciality coffee at home and you will be saving money in the end. If you absolutely must have your coffee outside there are loads of local and independent cafes to choose from that serve better coffee than these American chains.
