The Hummingbird Bakery is coming to Kuwait and the rest of the region but not with Alshaya. Arabian Business is reporting that Daud Arabian, a subsidiary of The Daud Group of Oman signed a partnership with The Hummingbird Bakery and they’ll be opening branches in the UAE, Bahrain, Qatar, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Oman, Kuwait, Lebanon and Egypt. The first branch is going to open in Dubai Mall on the 25th of this month which is just 20 days from now. [Link]

It is about time that a quality bakery come to Kuwait. Yes, in Dubai Mall there seems to be many new ones opening up. One bakery that I visited there is called Bloomsbury, and it was gorgeous in it’s presentation, however, my son and I did not care for their cubcakes. But what is needed is a quality presentation in Kuwait, with a quality product and I think they will do well here. Enough already.
There are lots of good local ones, don’t see why we need to get franchises when “Cupcake Shop” is like, the first idea every Kuwaiti girl gets for a business.
lol so true
Read my lips….a quality presentation in Kuwait, with a quality product – that is what is needed in Kuwait. Let me emphasize the word ‘QUALITY’!
What about no new taxes?
Andddd there are a bunch of places like that.
If the Hummingbird’s here already can the Magnolia be left far behind?
Magnolia is opening in Al Hamra Mall this November.
