So I tried Krispy Kreme, and I have already tried Dunkin Donuts and honestly I have to say I prefer Go Nuts Donuts. Actually to be truthful I have only tried one donut from Go Nuts and its the “Choco Mallow Frostโ and its just my favorite donut ever. Its not greasy like Krispy Kreme and its not heavy like Dunkin Donuts, its actually better then both combined. Hard to believe I know but its true.

No it’s a franchise from a filipino company. It’s a really popular doughnut store in the Philippines.

krispy kreme donuts were available at marina today. there was a girl with a cart and two guys with the tvs over their head walking around giving out donuts. it was the krispy kreme glazed, maybe the chocolate one is better will have to try it and see.

I mean there has been donuts shops in kuwait before dunkin donuts and krispy kreme… yet no body seemed to care…and oh yeh why do u like them so much! i mean their nothing but DEEP FRIED SUGAR COATED BREAD!! kirspy kreme is known for its fresh and only fresh glazed donuts , so wait when the store open and buy them fresh.
got my 6 pack 2day at marina and i was laucky my box was from the assorted ones…i have to say it taste very good but its very sweet, it would be very nice if they could reduce the suger a bit.
It melts in the mouth u don’t need to even chew unlike other donuts i had in kuwait.
Oh and the the guys with the overhead TV’s a saw those too and they look realy cool i think they are called Pixman.
Haven’t tried the KK in Kuwait, the ones over here are YUMMII.. I hate DD. I have no idea how people actually eat them.

I agree with Mark. GoNuts Donuts are actually better/tastier. KK has publicity/hype and DD has history but thats about it. Gonuts Donuts is a lot better. They are currently located in Albahar Mall, Souk Shark, Marina Mall and soon to open Kozmo Souk Salmiya. each of offers different types of donuts that you cant get from the other. My favorite is DOLCE DE LECHE DONUT from GONUTS

I prefer DD over KK but I too have to admit Gonuts is good but I have to go with DD over everything else!

A friend of mine was at Marina yesterday but she didn’t get her doughnuts because she said that the girl who was giving them out had an attitude. my friend said that when she passed by the girl, the girl just looked at her & turned her face. I think she only gives the doughnuts to the guys.
People its DONUTS, nothing great really if its not fresh. I remember my best donuts ever were at Winchells, an old donut chain. It was good, because it was fresh. Eat at any of those stores and it wwill be the same if its fresh. The only point of differentiation might be in the glazes and fillings, and i don’t see much difference there. This is not a donut market, never was and never will. However people will much it down their throats just to prove that they have tried it and artificially love it. That is what hypes area all about. In Kuwait its shortlived. Major exception was starbucks. Kids never drank coffee, now they do it by the gallons. Caffeine withdrawal. So with donuts its what? Sugar withdrawal?
Rr – the sudden increase of interest in donuts in kuwait in my opinion is because it opened in harrods – and anything Kuwaitis in london make a big deal out of, is made a big deal out of here, and soon we’d have those products (eg. “london” chocoaltes)
I havent had KK here, but my intial thought is that it is/going to be over-rated, oo khaba 3al fathy.
Peachpuff – free donuts, and ive seen white hummers with the kk logo on it on the gulf street… and in Kuwait names, the fact that that certain family opened up KK (new into this kinda business after many many recent events) is NOT going to go un-noticed

i was their yesterday and they had the donuts stored near the Body Shop, and as soon she reach Starbucks -around 20 meter away form where they stored the donuts they dad to go back agin to refill the cart …really funny hehehehehe guys am telling you she couldn’t even make it to the founten eara, i was watching all this from Starbucks wondring will i ever get a box…finally i had to follow them to where they store it to get my 6 pack cause i couldn’t wait anymore.

i agree with mark, go nuts donuts isa far more better than anything else… i luv the choco mallows too!!! sweetness is just right… KK is too sweet, and the only reason why they are giving away donuts is because no one is buying thier donuts…
