I have a Dangoo how does it compare? I love the thing and it has 100% emulation on GBA games which were more important to me than SNES games. Any SNES game I wanted to play has a GBA port anyway, and then there’s some really good originals too.

You mean Dingoo. Well the Supaboy takes original SNES cartridges so unless you have the games you won’t be able to play them. I’m playing all my emulation now on the Pandora but the Supaboy is extremely tempting since I still have all my original SNES cartridges.

Mostly issues when running 3S lipo, but even on 2S the ballcups pop off too easily and the axles snap easily as well. I don’t know if HPI has fixed these issues or not. And the problem with the ESC is that the Castle Sidewinder (what they used) does not handle too many amps to begin with since its a light duty ESC. I have one and I mostly use it in a little 1/16 buggy. They should’ve went with the MMPro TBH.

That’s not true. The only advantage the Roam has is it’s waterproof and that’s all. Get the waterpoof case for the GPS or + and you’ve got it beat. Video quality wise from best to worse is Contour+ > Contour GPS > Contour Roam.

Then you also have bluetooth which the Roam doesn’t have. Click the bluetooth button on the Contour+ and the Contour App on the iPhone launches and you can now see what the camera sees as well as change settings on the fly.

With the Contour+ you can also connect an external mic which is a big plus. Finally you also have GPS which i don’t care about but someone else might.

look at the ground to see how detailed the contour+ is compared to the GPS which is even better than the roam. With the Contour+ u can see the individual stones, with the GPS it’s a blur.

You are right on that comparison, i’ve been using the Roam for couple of months now and it’s doing fine although the Plus seems to have many more options.

Mainly i got the contour roam for a quick shooting under the rain; and the Plus was out of budget 🙂

Well I started looking at the GoPro’s, then moved to the Replay XD1080, then the Roam, then back down to the Contour HD, then back up to the Contour GPS and finally ended up with the Contour+

No regrets although I don’t think it’s that great at night. I do love the iphone connectivity with the camera though, it makes thing soo much cooler. The fact you can change camera settings without a computer is fantastic. I can control contrast, exposure, colors, mic level etc.. all from the iphone app.

PLaying music at the pool or any outdoor place… the battery last more than 5 hours and you recharge via usb… I have one and I used few times… works extremely good.

@V-sensation, i think it works up to 10 hours…

@mark, maybe you can plug it in your ipod or pocket snes when your travelling outside. =]..

There is no comparison. The FiiO i linked to has DAC for one thing. cmoy is over hyped and for wannabee geeks. “oh look at my amp, it runs from a Altoids can”.

Expensive doesn’t usually mean better. Sennheiser for example have like maybe 40 or 50 different headphones? You have open air, closed, full over ear, on ear, in ear etc.. then you have different headphones with different ohms, some need external amps to run properly and then sound starts sounding different depending on what amp you get, how you’ve ripped your music etc..

Basically, choosing the right headphones is extremely difficult.
