I watched Saw IV while I was in London and I found it really lame. The gruesome scenes were pretty detailed and realistic which is great but the story was just really forced. Part 4 was just squeezed out of no where, the whole thing should have ended in the third part, they should never have done a fourth. Currently there isn’t much on at the theaters so it might be worth watching just to kill time. I would recommend The Kingdom and Stardust over Saw 4 if you haven’t watched them already. Final score a 2.5 out of 5.

:: Part 5 for the next year 🙂
Saw is a halloween franchise. Expect to see new iterations of the movie every October till the next century, or until they run out of Roman numerals – whichever comes first.
the saw films are not bad, they are this generation’s iteration of multi-part b-horror. Basically if you see one you might as well see them all.
Stardust?? I wouldn’t watch it if one dragged me kicking and screaming.
American Gangster, now that’s a freakin good movie!
I have seen all three but I’m gonna watch this one outta respect (although it doesn’t deserve any). The first one still the best one because it wasn’t just a meaningless torture like the rest, but had a good psychological aspect about it.
1408 could be a better option over Saw IV(for horror movies). Out of the Saw series, only I and II were interesting.
I still remember the quote from Saw II; “What do you want?” nothing, just a little bit of your time”!
