BlackBerry Curve 8900 for KD120

A friend of mine at the office just bought a BlackBerry Curve 8900 from Carrefour for KD120. Comes with a QWERTY keyboard even!

Update: The actual price is KD127.750 and they were out of stock today (May 16) but they told me they would be getting some more tomorrow.

that is a good price,
but i found it for 110kd with a new line in the mishref fairgrounds 2 weeks ago. too bad its over now

blushberry don’t duh me I said QWERTY not QWERT.
The curves that were sold by Electrozan where from the German T-Mobile so their keyboards were QWERTZ. The keyboards of the Carrefour curves are like regular keyboards which are QWERTY.

You know whats funny ? when you keep looking everywhere for it and you just cant find it, then, & only then, you find the black market dealers going up with sky high prices. you buy it, and then this comes along, AMAZ-ING !

Thanks Mark !

A friend of mine said she bought it for 130 from eureka QWERTY keyboard too, that was a a couple of weeks ago. This is a really good price tho but like Mr.pedro said it will get cheap as i heard of the new blackberries coming

I got sick of the blackberry trend in Kuwait… that matches the hijab, nail polish or even the car colour. WTF, Blackberry exists for ages and it seems that everyboby just found it out now!!
Can’t wait for the next “stupid trend” that everyone will follow !

Im gonna get it. I have the old curve now though, the 8320.
@ love collection: What’s wrong with it? BBM is awesome!

thanks for the post – i’ve been trying to find a BB with a reasonable price for quite some time now..
Does anyone know if there are any blackberry bolds for sale over there?

Yah thats true … I had a black berry 2 years ago when the trend started in usa.. and now its’ all over here.. that is so hilirious!!

Anyone know if the Bold is being sold in Kwt and at what price?

Also is keyboard both Arabic/English or do they sell the just English version?

Thanks

I saw T-mobile branded bolds at the sultan center in hawalli for 169 KD I think. Is there any disadvantage to getting the branded phone over the unlocked one? Also, will the 3G work? I have heard different things.
