Some of the prices are slightly higher than last year, for example when you compare the 15 Pro with the 16 Pro, this year its KD2 higher:

If you purchase the iPhone 16 Pro 128GB online from the US Apple Store and shipped it to Kuwait, even with taxes and shipping it would still be cheaper, costing around KD345. This is because the US has the lowest iPhone prices. Compared to the rest of the world though, Kuwait’s prices are somewhere in the middle.

U.S. iphone useses same voltage as Kuwait?
iPhones don’t run on AC voltage (110/220) they run on DC current, USB-C. If you’re asking about the USB adapter, I don’t think it comes with one anymore and even when it did they were universal voltage.
Hello, I’ve never heard of an ‘official iPhone price’ in Kuwait since there’s no Apple store. Usually Xcite and Blink for eg have different prices so is it different this year?

There have been official Apple prices in kuwait for maybe a decade. We don’t have a store but we have authorized Apple resellers. Blink isn’t an Apple reseller they sell grey market which is why their prices would be different from xcite who are authorized resellers.
US iPhones are only eSim based. The rest of the world will have a sim card slot + eSim. In Kuwait until last month you can’t have to eSim card working together at the same time, this is a limitation with Kuwait mobile network operators.
Me and my wife both have had two esims running on the phone for at least a year. I think she’s had two for a few years now actually, since esims became available. Not sure who told you it wasn’t possible.
Which network? if you try to mix ooredoo & Zain it doesn’t work.

I think getting the Pro model shipped from USA to Kwt will cost cheaper. If so, do you have any tips?
I order all my Macs from the States since even with shipping turns out to be cheaper than here. But I prefer order from apple.com anyway cuz you can also customize it.
iPhone 16 launch event was a bit of a disappointment since other than the new A18 6-core chipset + 48MP camera + wifi 7 and 4k @ 120fps recording (Samsung already had it on S24 Ultra) we did not get anything else… And the whole AI is not even live…And that camera button that is very uncomfortable for portrait shots. One major camera improvement – low light photo performance!
Unless you are upgrading from iPhone 11 or earlier models, it does not make sense to go for 16 pro models this time. Wait for another year.
iPhone 11? Have you used a a recent phone by any chance? I jumped from 13pro to 15pro and that jump was huge, so wtf are you on about?
Well, my iPhone 13 of 3 years decided to die on me with serious technical issues. Repairing it would cost $400. So had to order a new iPhone so i ended with the 16 Plus got it for $1000 (300kd) all in.
