Avenues Phase 4
The fourth phase of Avenues is on target to open up next month on February 25th. They’ve invited some of the media to take a tour of the new phase at the end of this month so we should get new photos of a nearly complete mall pretty soon.
Al Kout Mall
The new Al Kout Mall is expected to open up in March with an exact target date of March 15th. Al Kout Mall is replacing Al Manshar Mall which was torn down back in 2013.
Assima Mall
Finally, even though Assima Mall construction site caught fire back in June, they’re still planning to open by Q3 2019. I think the fire delayed the project by just a few months since 2019 was always their target date.

Shit…I remember when phase 3 opened… It was overflowing with zombie walkers for almost a year.
Yes nice designs, but I really really hope they will have different stores and not just repeating the same shops over and over again.

They should’ve built a ride park in it like Mall of America. I hope they have some kind of indoor transportation, we already get the Avenues ache from spending a few hours there now, imagine how one would feel walking through all of the phases in one day.
Atleast its a good exercise..what will you do by saving so many calories?
I just calculated the new distance of the Avenues. It’s almost 1.5km and if you walk it back and forth you will burn calories equal to a donut!

Mark u forget about 360 mall expansion that will open also in 2019 plus apple store will be open in phase 4 of the avenues mall
I asked Tamdeen about 360 expansion they didn’t have a date. Regarding the Apple store in phase 4, when I asked Avenues about it a couple of months back while getting a tour, they told me it’s not the official Apple store but an Apple reseller. I remember cuz we had a whole discussion about 100% ownership and KDIPA.
