Fitness First, the largest privately owned health club group in the world is opening soon at 360 Mall. They have another branch that supposed to open in Salmiya near my place but I guess the 360 Mall location is going to be their first.

isnt the whole gym thing is being overdone now?…
its a very mediocre gym in the UK i was a member for 5 years there. wouldnt say its bad but with what’s already available i dunno how they r gna compete……unless they drive the prices down.
Isn’t this going to destroy the “posh” image of the mall. Now you’re going to have folks dressed in wife beaters and ripped shorts going to the gym and being all sweaty when they leave ?

Don’t forget all the needles from the steroids they use. A common sight outside most gyms.
i agree. hope they add proper showers so they can freshen up before leaving the gym. fitness first in uae is not that good too.
What about the hassle of parking, we all know how crowded malls are.
1. there is no need for any international gym franchises. (unless someone brought golds, they could get all the meat heads)
2. you can barely park at 360 on a good day.
3. who wants to join a gym at a mall.
4. addendum to # 3 there are probably a lot of guys who probably think its great. here is the scenario, “I can go to the gym…bang away at my biceps and chest for an hour (neglecting all other major muscle groups) then go walk around the mall all pumped up with my little fanny pack. Then maybe go get a fancy coffee somewhere and stare at other roid heads and scare the girls off. don’t forget the inappropriate clothes, sweat pants and crocs, shirts 2 sizes too small. Its going to be glorious.
5. 360 for the win! first Geant and now Fitness first. Good job guys
haha true…. clearly rent money is hard to come by these days lol. will be quite bad if its not in a secluded corner somewhere or outside the main mall buildings..

this project is a failure and will not work all in all. gym in a mall? who will go? specially with the peoples egos in this country. everyone has to be dressed to impress when they go to 360.
I like the idea of having Fitness first in kuwait, but it should have a stand alone building or something.
Having a segregated gym in a mall is just not right.

I say Kuwait needs strip clubs no*** I mean strip malls and this could go there!
you’d be surprised buddy… I go to a male only gym in Jabreyah and the amount of dudes that rock up in Dolce & Gabbana track suits is endless lol…. Imagine what will it be like if its mixed

He said its male only so i am assuming it isn’t coed.
Men only facilities and women only facilities,, so same place but separated..
It’s good to have a gym at the mall,can make every people who came for shopping only when look fitnessfirst have a feel to do gym before or after shopping,for momy can do fitness while ur beby go play with the nanny,etc so its not where the gym stand up,but how we sensitively about our healthy 🙂 lets try that,More healthier more fun
The two fitness first clubs I attend now in Dubai are both at malls. They both have plenty of parking all the time. Even on the busy weekends, I never have a problem parking. Fitness First is by far the best club I’ve ever been a park of.
