Good luck for them. reminding me 16 years back when I played in Sydney 2000

oh nice! quick question, is the Olympics committee unorganized and a big mess?
Reason I am asking is because their website doesn’t look it’s been updated since 2001 and I was talking to Faye the other day asking her if she had a list of athletes taking part with her at Rio and she didn’t have one. She didn’t know who from Kuwait was going with her, I actually had to share the list I had with her of the other Kuwaiti athletes going to Rio.
I mean if I was the Olympics committee I would at least create a whatsapp group and add all the athletes to it and be like “hey guys, i just wanted to introduce you to all the other Kuwaiti Olympians heading to Rio with you.” It would literally take just a minute of work.
Actually in 2000, everything were arranged and you can know all the players name either from your country or somewhere else by logging to their website. Hope to attend it again, was good experience
@Naser: Wow!!! Big salute to u, Sir.
But I heard Kuwait was disqualified?
Kuwait as a country was banned not disqualified. Athletes were not. So athletes are free to compete under the IOC flag.
I’m rooting for everyone, but I’m especially rooting for the Refugee Team.
<3
Can a football team or any team of a group sport compete under the IOC flag?
Faye Sultan is fiiiioooonee.
Thanks a lot for this, I was just trying to find the times on my own haha
I’m so relieved that their times are good to watch
Is there anyway to watch the games online for people in Kuwait?
