Kuwaiti runner Mohammad Alazemi (in blue and white above) was disqualified after finishing 3rd in his 800m heat. It seems he pushed the Polish runner and so was disqualified for obstruction. [Link]
Mohammad Alazemi had previously won gold in both the 800m and 1500m races at the 2011 Asian Championships in Kobe, Japan. This was Mohammad’s third time competing at the Olympics.
Thanks Akbar

doesn’t look like he touched him at all
Know but i heard he made some sort of “طعن بل الغاء” (have no idea how to say it in englsih sorry xp) and that he might be requalified but im not 100% sure
In English it’s called “appealing for his disqualify.”
looked like he just breezed past that dude.. Hope they revoke that decision..
He never touched him!! This is ridiculous why would they disqualify him :/
Reminded of the movie dictator !
btw, how can the committee make such poor decision
It looks for me the the polish guy was getting slow and blocking his way, they should disqualify the guy who is blocking instead, does any one have a better video, this does not show clear
Did they get the polish guy’s comment on the incident?
