i would rather buy the similar cycle than renting it .
agreed
a bike costs what 30kd?
What kind of bike costs KD30, the one that comes with a happy meal? The purefix bike mentioned above costs KD150.
if we ride more than 59 hours,it is better to buy one.
see for a guy that gets around much, you dont get around much
Congratulations to UCYCLE! Kuwait needs more businesses like this. Maybe they will also launch a bike awareness campaign that would promote the safety of cycling and help create laws and highway lanes for good bicycling. In my area it’s a huge risk to ride and it shouldn’t be — it’s a residential area.
Weather doesn’t exactly help most of the year for there to be dedicated bike lanes. I’m not against the idea, Kuwait has money and this would be a good place to spend it but the weather plus peoples reckless driving aren’t helping.
Hi can you please post the address?
Thank you!
Dr John Hayes,
Thanks a lot for your support, it means a lot coming from you. Your support for youth initiatives and SME’s are heard of all over. We hope to inspire and get people to invest in themselves by getting more fit and enjoying the good weather. Creating a greater of awareness of bicycling and hopefully a movement of followers.
@UcycleKw
Are there any businesses that will rent a bike for months at a time?
You might as well buy a bicycle
Actually, no. I’d like to have a bike for a couple of months only (long story, don’t ask), and don’t want to spend a couple of hundred dinars. If there was a chance to rent one for, say, 20-30 KD a month, it would be ideal.
