This is the latest footage shared by the Ministry of Public Works showing the progress on the construction of the new Kuwait Airport terminal (T2). It looks like there is still a lot of work to do but, construction of the new terminal is currently on track to be completed by next summer, August 2022.

It looks absolutely beautiful. The most important thing is the company that will manage the airport, ensures it remains top notch and the standard stays very high
I hope the airport staff are trained on how to deal with other nationalities as well. No point in having a fancy airport if the immigration officer is arrogant with the travelers. Spoils the whole experience.

Construction may be 2022, but when is fit-out going to be completed and all the approach roads, aprons and support infrastructure?
When is the first scheduled flight going to park at any of the gates?

Good to know the country will finally get a world class Avenues style airport.
I highly doubt it will be done by 2022, as a Site Engineer that is currently working on the project, this terminal building will not be complete before 2025. this whole video was just a PR stunt lol
