Traveling for Eid?

Make sure you get to the airport super early and email me photos from the airport if it looks insanely overpacked like the picture above which was taken this past weekend.

Update: A reader @BoozAzzouz took the photo below earlier today, I’m guessing you’re going to have to get to the airport at least 3-4 hours earlier to make sure you don’t miss your flight.

I travelled last night. The airport was super busy but surprisingly organized. I’ve seen some real improvments. The longest line was go drop my bags with KLM. Passport control and security moved quickly

last night had a jazeera flight at 9:15pm got to the airport at 6:30pm, checked in and went through passport control in exactly 15 minutes was extremely quick, on the other hand where the insane lines are, is by the emirates side of the airport where there are hundreds of passengers just lined up and apparently missing their flights

August 1st first G4S takes over, and expect even crazier lines at peak times. This will be a proper security scan like in European Airports, so it will take much longer than the current beeeeep beeeeep please go through i’m busy looking my phone.

G4s security for a country as small as Kuwait, just because the government cannot manage it’s staff! How insulting and way to go for the kuwaitization plan. While they are at it, let them continue to insult expats more and more, cause we don’t need them…..yeah whatever
