It’s def a 1980-85 Chevy Caprice notice the “Chevrolet” badge on the grille on to the right? (I know, you can’t see what the badge says.) The Pontiac Parisienne had a split grille and was only available in Canada, they were rare back in the day. My Grandpa had about 3 Caprices, he got rid of them in 2003.
Yes, I think you’re right, that big perpendicular heap certainly ain’t from the sixties! The big Oldsmobile Toronado is, though!
Am I the only one who thinks all these film clips and photographs from the late ‘fifties and the sixties portray a much nicer Kuwait?
The population back then was something like 5% of what it is today.
That said all the people who complain there’s nothing to do now probably would have killed themselves back then
I think this is possibly a mash up of three decades; 60’s, 70’s and 80’s. The first part looks like genuine 60’s. It’s my favorite.
I agree, I can see at 2:17 that is a 1969 Impala, like the one I had except mine was a 2-door with glass packs. Ahh the days when cars were cars and not plastic toys like today. Did anyone notice how much room the old houses used to have? They aren’t on top of each other like they are today.
love the structures,it looked like the architects looked beyond 2013 and designed them.
Sad thing is, the roads didn’t improve that much since then. It’s like they didn’t know the population is supposed to grow..

At 3:18 there is what looks like a 1988/89 Chevy Caprice.
Actually, it looks like a 1978 Pontiac Parisienne. And at video at that point is definately not in the 60’s, so I would agree with you there.
Here’s a link to the car
