Turns out it was parked illegally in the taxi bay along with another Mercedes G Class from Kuwait that was also got towed. [YouTube]

Update: I found out what happened in the video above and it turned out to be just an innocent mistake that was blown out of proportion because the car that was towed was an Aventador. The store is the owner of the car parked the car in an illegal parking spot not knowing it was a spot dedicated to taxis. The sign was written in French and there were other cars parked so he just parked next to the other cars. Turns out the spot he parked in specifically was a taxi spot which is why it got towed.

No wasta there!
LOL so true. Kuwait tops the corruption index thanks to their complete disregard for traffic laws in general.

yes there was wasta because 15min after it got towed the owner of the car called the kuwaity ambassedor who talked to some french guy in the government and had them take it out of the impound lot in france.
This brings me to a question.
Is it possible (for non-kuwaiti) to ship a car on Kuwaiti license plates to, for example, Europe and drive it there for a while???
Yes. It’s done every year in most of the major cities in Europe.
looks like the owner has commented on youtube…and he seems proud of his achievement..
He thought being a lamborghini no one would say him anything if he breaks the rule, like he would do in Kuwait !
what a douche
Strange the alarm wasn’t going off?
people were cheering. this is the worlds approach towards kuwaitis.learn.
M sure the owner didnt even bat an eye ..Must have been close by sitting in a coffe shop watching the whole thing… If he can afford to ship, drive and illegaly park his car in no park zone in St.Tropez then a measly parking fine inclusive of towing and impound charges would’nt even have dent his pocket. Another day in a rich mans world..
+1
*clap clap clap* *whistles* *clap clap clap*
lol
I find it rude that others clap for what is happening, I agree he was wrong with parking this way and for sure he did it many times before and deserve what comes to him, but to celebrate on someone else miseries only show the real dirt inside of them ! they would not like it if it happened to them !
Celebrate ? LOL !!, relax theere buddy, no one’s celebrating anything.
Sure looks like celebrating with the clapping and whistling and derisive comments.
what if it was just a toyota ? will people be clapping ? jealous bastards
hey could some 1 put details on transporting bikes when we go for holidays with us …. ?? which shipping company does the shipping ?? whats the paper work in q8 ??? plsssss some 1 with any info ..
thank you
Just who do they think they are- some pack of nouveau riche Qataris or what??
I totally support Armando’s comment, that shows you not only dirt but the way we Kuwaitis are being looked at, I bet each one that was clapping was saying inside of them ‘filthy Kuwaitis its a good thing they removed his car’.
No matter what they will look at us as filthy rich, not everyone is filthy rich but unfortunately that’s how people think nowadays.
I don’t think it was about nationality, I think it was just about the rich in general who think they can getaway with anything. That’s why they were clapping, not because the owner was Kuwaiti.
people really need to start thinking like this..
I don’t think they were clapping pointing nationality or a rich guy getting pwned !
They are doing just because a Lamborghini is getting towed ! It’s always funny to see a super car getting arrest than a Toyota :p !
Always make a rich vs poor thing. Its simple, the guy was hungry and parked at the closest parking spot to the place. His car got towed, so did the other two cars parked next to him.
There is no show here, move along.
Well, maybe he thought he could get away with parking it in a taxi zone since its orange like the old taxis ?
Y’all are looking at this video wrong.
All I see is:
1. A sign saying “Kuwait”.
2. A crowd applauds.
The rest are just details…
