I love how the smart guy pulled out not an astrophysics book or something like that, but what is CLEARLY a 4th- or 5th-grade science book as his “proof that the earth is round”. LOL

Man, I just wish they’d had debated it on the basis of evidence rather than which book was correct.
Some of the members at Kuwait’s astronomy club tell me people with such odd beliefs always pop up there every two to three months.Last time it was geocentrics that believed the earth was the center of the universe. Flat earthers are a bit more rare I’d guess. 🙂
