1 hour from arriving to entering the lounge is not too bad…… Lounge is packed though……
I made a comment on the other post recommending people to fly out of Shiekh Saad Terminal via FlyDubai, and then catch a connecting flight with Emirates, but some people seemed unhappy with my reasonable recommendations. Oh well, what can be fone?

I was at the airport last night seeing someone off and thought to myself – “glad they’re not traveling tomorrow” (thursday). Boy it was an epic mess and I can’t imagine how its going to be tonight.
Was having a chat with a friend who works at the airport and learnt something funny and sad at the same time – the entire airport has a public seating area for exactly 3 persons.
Gives you an idea why there was that awesome Airport Review post a couple of days back.
I hope Mark Stableford will be stuck there.
The Eid Monster exodus is upon us finally! I wish they would open city check in
counters at the Avenues, 360 and the Gate Mall till the new airport is up and running in the next quarter of a century.
