Watch Live Cricket Matches

Last night I was listening to some great tracks on my way home from dinner and somehow found myself outside the Entertainment City gates at around 10:30 in the evening. As I was u-turning to head back home, I noticed the lights at the TACK Cricket Ground were on so I decided to check and see what was going on. Turns out there was a cricket game taking place so I stayed and watched it until they were done.

The TACK Cricket Ground is actually pretty sweet, they’ve got real grass first of all which I love, but they’ve also got super bright floodlights lighting up the whole area so they could play at night. Super practical during the hot summer months.

I asked a friend of mine who’s involved in the local cricket league if there was a game schedule online and turns out there was. If you’re interested in watching live cricket matches, then head over to the Kuwait Cricket website and check out their schedule [Here]

The bigger story for me here is that someone can actually end up all the way in Doha, without making a conscious effort to do so.

You got here by wandering around aimlessly and I’ve had to send GPS coordinates, whatsapp locations, print outs and what not to send people there, and still spend 10 mins on the phone explaining directions 😀

Man seriously you should give a try and play a friendly cricket you gonna love it, hopefully we gonna play this weekend in Salmiya Boulevard Stadium, you can pass by and have fun…all you have to do just shot the ball out of the stadium. SIMPLE 🙂

That’s ok – you can train with us — we all get 1 chance — we can probably give you 3 chances to get out haha

Hello. I am interested in playing some friendly matches. Very fond of cricket, unfortunately not able to gather enough friends to form a team and play. Would be great if I get a chance. Thanks

Hey Mark,
The cricket world cup is happening these days, and I would love to sit among the crowd of fans and experience cricket culture in Kuwait. Any idea where one could go for such experience?
