There’s a cool little pizza place in Lebanon called Margherita thats open in the Gemmayze street. It turns out they’re opening up in Kuwait before the end of the year. I recently posted a review of Margherita on my other Lebanese blog [Here] but in summary, it’s not as good as Solo pizza but it should give all the other pizza places in Kuwait a run for their money.
Margherita is most likely going to open at the Arabella projects in Al Bedaa. I like pizza nearly as much as burgers so I think it’s great that new pizza places are opening.

Did you try Uno Chicago deep dish pizza? It’s an original Chicago pizza. Nothing else is like it! Forget Italian pizza!! Btw I liked their burgers too. They are situated in The Avenues.
i tried their burgers and didn’t like them. haven’t tried their pizza, dont think i would though since i am not a fan of deep dish pizzas
Pizza is the new burger/sushi

I’m glad that new pizza places are opening up here!! we don’t have any!
What a creative name, lol.
I liked the Corona bottle on the side. at the above picture !
LOL. was just going to say I hope the “atmosphere” is the same as the one in Lebanon
I was gonna say the same as Meh…. but I love pizza so I can’t complain!
According to the owner of Baking Tray cafe in an interview on Khaleejesque: “I have just finished the final touches on our concept Homeslice. It’s a pizza place in Shaab AlBahry where we sell New Yorker pizzas by the slice and salads in a casual atmosphere.”
i have to disagree.. Margherita is one og the best pizza places around.. the least thing i like about it is that the lebanese owner is an airehead bigtime.
Try OFK’s pizza.
thank you for the comments Alvaro ,hope we did not offend you in any way .
I LOVE GEMMAYZEH!
We heard they were coming to Kuwait last time we visited Beirut. I hope they bring the high customer service standards they showed in Lebanon to Kuwait! Looking forward to eating there. 🙂
