There is a new dedicated sneaker cleaning place that opened up in Shuwaikh called “Clean Kicks”. They can clean, restore and even customize your sneakers. Their prices start at 5.5 KD for a wash but can climb a lot higher depending on what you want them to do. I took a photo of their menu and you can check it here.
If you want to drop by your sneakers to them, they’re located in Lilly Center in Shuwaikh. They’re kinda tucked away in the alleyway behind the building so the easiest way to find it is by walking towards Circuit Plus since they’re right past their entrance. Here is the location on Google Maps and they’re also on Instagram @cleankicks.kw

My favorite sneaks – Le Coq Sportif Arthur Ashe – are starting to not look so good.
Thank you SO much, Mark for letting me know about this place.
We really need more places like this in town.
those resellers are just a big scam,
they gets their sneakers for 30-50 KD and re-selling em for 200 KD
and we all know how raffles are being done at backdoors and we know who stands in the ques by the release date. :))
ummm what are you talking about? did you comment under the wrong post? how is cleaning your sneaker a scam?
the indian shoe repair dude next to your local co op is more superior and doesnt charge 5kd
I wasn’t gonna say anything but your comment is so annoying. Did you even try the place? What makes your random shoe repair dude next to the coop more superior? The customer service? The location? The quality of work? The restoration skills? You’re such an asshole, stop talking out of your ass.
Mark, I totally get why you would be annoyed by that comment, but did you really to have include the last sentence in your reply? C’mon man
Calling the guy out for being an asshole? Yeah it was necessary
Mark, you know how much I like you but you can’t name-call people here. There are laws.
I care about you 😉
The guy is a troll who posts under different names
What law are you talking about?
I just realized how unnecessarily rude my comment was, sorry & I’ll try to make my satire comments more obvious next time. As for my name, it’s my first name and the only name I’ve been using here
Hey Bader,
We would really like it if you came over and tried our service.
When here just tell the staff to contact the owner and say its Bader from 248 am.
Ill gladly hook it up and hopefully you will be happy with the outcome.
Regards,
Clean kicks
You cant compare this type of business to some guy who repair shoes from a coop. Do you have any idea how much the prices of the shoes going in for cleaning? 1 shoe cost at least $200 up to $500+. So this type of shoes should be handled by professional and experienced people.
Lol. I’ll give my Jordans there only if the professional is a philipino.
Not being racist. But
1. An Indian will never value and care for my expensive jordans.
2. An Egyptian will engineer it. (Rofl I’m sure I’ll never get it back right)
Only a philipino values the art. Appreciates the quality and brand. And will work for the love of shoes rather than just the money.
Saying not being racist and then proceeding to be racist doesn’t make you not a racist.
Hard facts need to be mentioned.
I know I sound racist. But facts remain facts.
No its not a fact, its called stereotyping
I absolutely looove this idea! How exciting, thanks for sharing!
We need more sneaker cleaning services sneaker
👟 🧼
Thank you mark for posting about us. We really appreciate the exposure.
Just to clarify our services start at 4.5 KD. This is for “CK Turbo Wash” service which covers a quick hand cleaning and then goes into the washing machine to be cleaned by specifically formulated pods with natural oils and chemicals made for sneakers. Our more detailed and intricate work comes with the other packages starting at 5.5KD (The Wash) and can range up to 35KD being the most extensive service we offer covering paint / decreasing / anti bacterial properties. We also customize from simple solid colors all the way to fully custom artworks using Angelus paints. These can be scene on our Instagram mentioned on the post.
To answer someone’s comment above. We use specific products and have certified staff from Reshoevn8r which our staff go through training and testing annually. These things you cant get from the local co-op.
Our clients love their sneakers and want the best for them if the best for you is there go ahead, if you want something different come and try us out.
Much love to all and looking forward to checking out everyone’s interesting shoes that come to the shop!
If the shoes are very expensive, this type of shop would be good to know about. But my Indian cobbler does a great job already.
What I would really like is a shop that can handle things like leather jackets, faux fur coats, expensive gloves.
Already exists https://www.instagram.com/delicatescouture/
Thanks! Will contact them.
