Fuddruckers is still alive

Fuddruckers was one of the first restaurants to pop up on the Gulf Road and was the go-to place for us teenagers back in the early 90s. Eventually, more restaurants started opening up in Kuwait which made Fuddruckers irrelevant until they eventually closed down. But last week I found out that they’re still alive on delivery platforms.

Fudds used to be known for their burgers and cookies and both are available to order. I’m not sure if they have a physical store or a ghost kitchen but according to Google Maps there is only one Fuddruckers location and it hasn’t been updated since 2019 so I’m assuming its closed. If you’re feeling nostalgic and order from them, let me know if their burgers are still any good.

I ordered from fudds last year.

The lemon pepper chicken was spot on 90’s but i couldn’t tell if the burger tasted the same as before,, and it wasn’t good compared to all the burgers we had in the last 20 years. I wouldn’t ordeg a burger next time, if there’s a next time.

Mark, sadly it doesn’t taste like before. I ordered Fudds 2 months back, and it was just horrendous. I always order the works 1/2 pounder, and was disappointed. The taste was just bland. 😔😔😔

Fudds was a cool hang out. It almost exuded college cafetaria vibes back in the day when gender segregation had still not stuck its ugly neck out. I remember people of all ages going there dressed to the nines as if they were going for high tea at the Dorchester or dinner at Ivy’s. Miss not having Fudds around more for the ambience than the food which was forgettable.

The one in dahia is the last remaining one I think. A lot of their items now border on inedible except for the Fuddruckers Burger which is not bad and their cookies are still the best
