A friend of mine recently moved back to Kuwait and brought his dog with him. He asked me the other day if I knew of any pet-friendly places and I had no idea. My dog is currently living with my ex-wife in Canada now and so I’ve been completely out of the loop with where to take a dog out. I used to take him to Al Shaheed Park back when it was just a regular large park (not what it is today), but with the new Al Shaheed Park pets aren’t allowed. The Scientific Center walkway is generally pet-friendly just because its a common sight seeing people walking their dogs there but other than that, I have no idea where someone can take their pets.
My friend heard Richards Coffee and Wild Cafe were both pet-friendly, but if you know of anywhere else let me know.

You can bring dogs at the old souq in salmiya. Keep your dog on a leash tho. Because a gaurd got mad at me for not keeping mine on a leash LOL (she’s trained by the way.)

we are cuurently in the process of opening a pet friendly cafe in Al Rai in a couple of months! the cafe is attached to our pet shop and groomers, @Luna_Beau on insta

there is a place in messilah called dog beach, it’s just a small stretch of beach that is empty where a lot of ppl take their dogs to run undisturbed by other peopl. i think it’s the same place they have the kit flying activities?
There’s a walkway just beside Marina Waves, it’s called D&D just because there’s a small snacks and drinks kiosk out there with that name, almost every dog owner in Kuwait knows that place and all kinds of dogs are being walked down that walkway.

FYI there is also a large fenced off area (technically a soccer field) behind Mubarak Al Kabeer hospital where jabriya dog owners take their dogs.

Last week i took my dog to mishref park it was nice my dog had so much fun. Im not sure if all public parks allows dogs. But in meshrif park there were no sign of (no dogs allowed). I might check on aljabryia’s public park next time.
Could you take the dogs anywhere in a pet carrier though? Like it’s in the bag which has a lot of ventilation…. Is there any fine to be payed?
What about places for cats? I really wanna train my cat to go outdoore and i t think it would be very good for her. Any places that are cat friendly?
