Alghanim Motors have officially opened the Lotus dealership in Kuwait. I passed by yesterday to check it out and they’ve got two models in stock, the Lotus Exige and the Lotus Evora. The Exige starts at KD27,000 while the Evora starts at KD34,000.
For those interested, according to the salesman they’ll have two test drive vehicles available in the next couple of days (pictured above). Here is their location on [Google Maps]

Kuwait is the 3rd country in the Middle East to have Lotus after UAE and Lebanon. The Lotus Elise would be a good addition too but it’s has kinda lost its touch.
Mark, don’t drive a Lotus. You’ll never want to drive any other car ever again. The weight is just sublime and changes your perception on how a car can feel.
Finally! But I hope they sell in decent numbers in Kuwait to be able to really sustain. It’s a great brand reborn & evolved.
Opening a dealership in Kuwait = easy!
Getting customers = easy!
Regular service = easy!
Parts when required = oops still a challenge for most!!
Not sure why most dealers still can’t figure out the PARTS bit. BTW I think Alsayer had the LOTUS dealership, probably some 18/20 years ago.
At this price range I would rather have a 911 carrera, more heritage and a brand that is well established and speaks for it self.
Yeah but with a 911 you’ll blend in with everyone else. Who doesn’t have a 911 here? To pay that much money and not be special kinda sucks.
Agreed. Be one of a kind. Not one of a million
That is great news! I assume alghanim will know how to make this brand sell just like they did with Honda recently. I just think the prices are way over the roof compared to the prices on Lotus’s website.
Well the exige is pretty similar to the lotus website but the evora is a lot more. although that might be because the entry model in kuwait is not the same as the entry model on the website, could be a higher spec one here.
