Suzuki Jimny Back in Stock Next Month

The first batch of Suzuki Jimny’s sold out in Kuwait overnight so a lot of people missed out on them. But, I just found out the dealer is getting their second shipment at the beginning of next month. The manual gearbox version was priced at KD5,200 while the automatic version was KD5,500. If you really can’t wait till next month for some reason, there is a car dealer in Sharq selling the green one pictured above for KD6,700 which is over a thousand more than the dealership. Crazy..

Bull Fakin Shiat.

I was there two days ago, and the manager told me clearly that the next batch is coming on its way next year May. The waiting list so far has over 800 PEOPLE, and it is almost impossible to grab any Jimny from the local dealership because the saudis are flocking like birds to place an order here because we are 1250 KD cheaper than any other GCC country.

You can however get a Jimny shipped over from Europe Tax free if you do the paper work.

well i was told next batch is coming the first week of December and they don’t have a waiting list. you can’t book a Jimny already checked on that.

Are you sure you are talking about Mustafa Karam showroom in Alrai right next to friday market?

I repeat the waiting list is so massive (800 & counting), everyone gave up ordering one.

The only thing you can do is head there and admire the new “Daftar” hanging on the windscreens carrying the lucky names that these cars are being delivered to.

Note to all: the ones coming to kuwait is the basic model, comes standard with 2 airbags and no multimedia or heated seats or rear camera etc.. STILL worth it

Yeah they’re the only Suzuki dealers. They don’t have a waiting list and you cant reserve a car, it’s first come first serve. I was there myself and they still had stock of manual ones. I could have purchased one if I wanted a Jimny.

It’s a simple old-school body-on-frame SUV/truck, with proper front and rear solid axles, a 2-speed manual low range transfer case with an optional manual transmission. Simple design, reliable and cheap. The only vehicle currently produced that is anywhere near this is the Jeep Wrangler, which now costs at least twice as much, is 700kg heavier and is becoming more complicated and less reliable than ever (computers, a dozen driving aids, etc.).

I went to the showroom last weekend and the guy took my name and number and said will call me next month when the batch arrives, he never mentioned 800 ppl not mentioned the whole of saudi is coming to buy the car. Only thing is you can’t actually reserve a car or color etc, they call you and if you want it you have to go and buy it on the spot.

And speaking of other GCC countries its the same there sold out and first come first serve same price.

They all took our names, the only car for sale is the 5000KD that has no rims and its white colored. Go check it out its the naked version that is in the show room.

Good luck receiving the call. I was there only days ago and I was informed there are hundreds of people in line, and the next batch is in May of 2019.

On my dead grave they will call you next month

I think you’re talking about a different car. The new Jimny is the car I’m talking about, the one pictured above. They got them in multiple colors and when I was there they still had the manuals in ivory (the color i wanted) and a few other colors. Price was 5200 for the manual, 5500 for the auto. All came with rims. I actually know how many they got of each version and how many they sold so I’m not making this shit up.
