My favorite coffee place Arabica just opened up their second location in Kuwait and it’s HUGE. The new location which they’ve called the Arabica Roastery consists of two main areas, the main coffeeshop with interior and outdoor seating, and the roastery where they’ll be selling beans to businesses (B2B) as well as offer training on how to make coffee.

Arabica will also be selling coffee making gear at this location. So for example you’ll be able to buy an AeroPress or a coffee dripper from them, and they’ll show you how to use them properly and get the best tasting coffee out of them. With the new location they’ve also introduced new items on their menu, most notably Matcha Latte and baguette sandwiches.
The new Arabica Roastery is located in Shuwaikh on the same street as Lilly Center and right next to the newly opened Healthy Feast. Their opening hours as of this post is from 4PM to 10PM. Here is their location on [Google Maps] and their instagram is @arabica.kuwait

I wish they all opened in Mayar Complex.
That would be so much fun.
Looks like they’ll be serving the larger store with a 3-head Slayer coffee machine. Hopefully they’ll compensate with pushing more drops if this location becomes popular.
their currently location in the city is a 3-head slayer. in shuwaikh though they’ve got two of them.
actually they have three slayer machines in Shuwaikh, but one is for training. you can see all three in this picture https://248am.com//images/2017/02/arabicashuwaikh.jpg
Any idea when the Al Raya branch will open?
i think any day now, thats the one i’m looking forward to the most since its across the street from me
Same here ๐
Same hereeeee! :)))
My wife and I visited this place over the weekend during their soft launch. I really liked the concept behind this. Its a store that is foremost and above all else of the pleasure of coffee – and then everything else is secondary.
Most of these new places are all about the atmosphere / ambiance / crowd and the coffee is just a halal substitute for what they would really like to be serving there.
This will easily become my favorite place to go and buy coffee — perhaps even drink it, except the seating isn’t that comfortable – again, makes sense since this is not a place where they expect you to lounge for hours on end while some 90s Mariah Carey is blasting over the radio.
A great addition to the normal glut of coffee boutiques in Kuwait. I am waiting for their B2B / educational section to open because I am really looking forward to finally getting a proper coffee setup at home.
I had they new sandwich – it wasn’t that bad either, a bit spicy but my wife loved it. Also I think the cake they were serving was also new – usually they just have the salty brownie and croissants.
Saw u there on Thursday was going to say, but then got a little busy with the storage room tour and missed u
I was there Thursday Friday and Saturday ๐
I seriously don’t understand cafes that doesn’t offer any options for vegans or lactose intolerance. ONLY COWS MILK AVAILABLE!!! it’s 2017 for the love of god
Some cafes do offer alternatives but I guess most don’t because end of the day u can have coffee without milk, it’s not a necessary ingredient
