Bonjiri is Now a MENA Top 50 Restaurant

Bonjiri, the Yakitori bar by Chef Maryam Alnusif (Mimi) last night became the second restaurant from Kuwait to make it to the Middle East & North Africa’s 50 Best Restaurants list. Bonjiri came in the No.50 spot, a few spots behind White Robata which came in 42nd but still an amazing accomplishment considering all the competition in the region.

If you’ve never been to Bonjiri before, check out my review here. For the full top 50 list, check out @theworlds50best

Wow I always wanted to go but never thought it was that good lol I will go there now

Also if anyone has been there please share your experience 🙂

I’m sorry to say, I ate from there. It’s not amazing.

If you want real Japanese food try in japan, how the owner makes it like it’s Asian cuisine, not Japanese cuisine.

Can you explain to me the thinking process behind your comment? Like did you read something positive in the morning and think oh how can I add some negativity to this? And then the generic if you want real Japanese food try it in Japan, like when you wrote that did you think you were adding any value?

Not trolling. I have been there and I have lived in japan for 13 years. I have a ramen license and studied ramen for 2 years in osaka. As for magazine companies that rated it, they don’t know what real taste of ramen is.

Lol if you need anything authentic you go to the country and have it from the grandmothers. This is a restaurant that stands out to be soo special that they got awarded so keep your negativity to yourself 🙂
