The Boulevard park/mall/food plaza is now kind of open. Basically right now there is Chilis and 5Napkins open in the food plaza overlooking the lake and thats about it over there. Inside the mall there is only Caribou Coffee right now but according to an employee there a few other stores are supposedly opening in the next few days. So if you’re thinking of passing by might be a good idea to do it next week since its open but not really open right now. If you don’t know where Boulevard is, here is the link on [Google Maps]

It’s a 2 minute walk from where I live. Life is about to get a lot more nicer. But, the incoming traffic influx is giving me the jitters. :/
I was excited when I first heard of this project, I thought finally we have an urban project that doesn’t involve burger joints. Guess I was wrong its just a glorified food court with a lake…
Hopefully kipco “mega project” doesn’t turn out like that as well.
Why not? Most of the food places in Kuwait are in extremely crowded areas and then you have totally empty residential areas a lot of the time. Makes sense to spread it out instead of being stuck for an hour in traffic to eat a burger
What a fucking nightmare.
That traffic light next to CIty Center is already a burden on everyone living here.
Took fifteen minutes to get through last night to go to my friend’s place on shari3 ma6a3im. Can’t imagine what it’s going to be like when this monstrosity opens.
You’ve described much of Hawalli much of the day.
That’s why I only go to Hawally for injera and beyenet.
Wein injera in Hawally?
