I was at SaveCo yesterday and noticed they’re now selling Click & Grow products. Click & Grow is an automatic plant growing system where sensors, processors and special software take care of the growing for you. They’re not cheap though, the Smartpot with Basil is being sold for KD35 while most refills are KD10 each. So if you’re considering saving money by growing your own products look elsewhere.

you can build a little micro grow room for that price almost and seed way more plants.

What I noticed about this store was the organization and how clean it was, the shelves were neatly stocked with some really cool product line and I liked that they asked me to donate 1KD at the check-out for charity during Ramadan. What I suggest that they build a shopping cart return near the parking lot because AS USUAL the street was paved by unqualified people and it slants down which is not their fault because the store went in after the sidewalk was built. The price of this product is far too high for the market and Kuwait needs to get a grip on its pricing. Her price of imported berries were higher than Sultan Centre. I REALLLLY don’t understand why Kuwait can not import real quality produce like we have in Dubai. Just import from Dubai! Bring seedless watermelons from Spain, not Mexico? Bring produce from France which I believe is not GM and it exceptional in quality compared to the USA which is farther. But all this produce is in Dubai and is not that far. I was surprised to speak with an old Kuwaiti woman who actually said this to me and I agree. Maybe SAVECO and break the market. I am challenging them.
I bought some Basil seeds, from Vacaville,CA for less than 1dollar .its grows in kuwait really good,with natural sunlight.Kd 35 is a joke.
You can actually buy Basil plants fully grown for about half a KD in the plant nurseries.
Unless it’s herbs from British Columbia, 35 KD seems extreme.

We hope you are well. This product has an agent in Kuwait, Mena, and they dictate the price as they are the exclusive distributors for the product in Kuwait. We do not import it ourselves and have no control over the retail price. We can certainly stop selling the product if our customers think it is giving us a negative image. today i went to SAVECO and i wanted to buy ( CLICK & GROW ) i couldn’t find it they said they remove it from the store can anyone tell me where i can buy it ?
