If you haven’t downloaded the Deliveroo app by now then do so because Deliveroo have now officially launched in Kuwait. They’re currently offering free delivery as well as a promise to deliver your food on time or else it’s free.
I haven’t gone through all the restaurants fully but it’s safe to say for now Carriage has a much larger selection of restaurants but keep in mind, Deliveroo’s list will grow with time. If you end up trying them out share your experience below!

How was your experience with them Mark?
tried them once so far and they delivered 4 minutes before schedule. app does seem lacking some features, for example i want to edit my address to include my floor number but the app doesn’t allow me to edit just delete an address
Good start. Just placed an order with Costa Coffee through Deliveroo App which was cancelled by Costa Coffee for technical issues.
Good thing is, their live chat is quite good.
Looks like it will be available in select areas for now.
Yeah, +1 on the above. They deliver to work now but not to my house.
Are the prices on deliveroo the same as the prices you get in store?
In the U.K deliveroo menus are more expensive because of the percentage they take. Restaurant don’t want that percentage to effect their profits so they pass the cost to their customers which is fair enough.
Same price or cheaper. Some places charge more if you dine in.
Pattaya Beach seems to be more
Your website has some malware show up before accessing your content. I’ve tried this on a seperate, clean computer and it shows Google Chrome is out of date.
Tried it, food arrived hot and guy was decent.
They gave me a credit of 2kd on my 3kd order for some reason.

Ordered. Arrived 5 minutes before the ETA.
They have an option to ‘tip’ the driver in the order itself.
I like the app and the clean interface, and the ability to save my KNET details in my account.
Tipping is a great idea, encourages drivers to be on time.
The tipping option is great, because I tend not to carry cash with me most of the time
My order was 10 minutes late and they called to apologise and offered a 3.5 KD voucher. Super cool.
They also have other small issues. For example, when ordering from Costa Coffee. Size options aren’t available for a majority of their things.
Apparently not delivering in Kuwait City
My office is in Kuwait City and they do deliver here.
I wanted to order a certain sandwich from Costa but it wasn’t available on Deliveroo. I walked to the Costa across the street from where I work and they had it there. And no I wasn’t that lazy to walk there in the first place, just wanted to try the service.
Unfortunately, they don’t deliver to my area yet, but one point I got to highlight that these guys are Int’l players, don’t expect them to show up in Kuwait unless they’ve got some tight tricks up their sleeves.
So those whom doubting their model need to lay back and watch for now, as the coming period will be interesting.

Deliveroo is hopeless. I ordered twice from them and twice they had technical issues and cancelled without notification while I thought my order was on the way! I called them to give them feedback and they start talking about some tablet issue. Promised a credit and that never happened either. Stick with carriage and talabat guys
