Just to put things in perspective; all your toothbrushes have fecal matter on them. If like 99% of people you store your toothbrush in the bathroom then you brush your teeth with shit everyday. What a pleasant thought.

Wasn’t there a study done that showed that most toothbrushes regardless of how clean the bathroom is were contaminated with fecal matter? Wasn’t it Mythbusters or a show like it?
Fecal matter will be all over the restaurant if any staff member doesnt wash properly with an anti bacterial soap after using the toilet. Bacteria grows and spreads so contamination will be all over the place. Now how many time have you bumped into one of those staff members in the toilet with a turd in their hands ?
It doesn’t have to be employees – I can’t COUNT the number of times I have been in a ladies room in Kuwait (nice, upscale restaurants included) and a fancy-shmancy lady will come sauntering out of the stall and go directly to the counter, take out her lipstick or makeup and start dabbing her mouth and eyes and face, and leaving the room – ALL WITHOUT WASHING HER HANDS! This is the MOST disgusting thing I see, and it is almost always the fanciest dressed ladies that seem to be the least likely to wash.
Fecal bacteria – i.e. E.coli and Enterococci- are also may be found “NORMALLY” in other sites including the skin! They are called “fecal” because they consist the largest bacterial population in the gut…
